Who I am

This website (newriverdigital.co) is operated by New River Digital, a registered Virginia trade name (d.b.a.) of Riflebird Technologies LLC (Reg. No. 12022589), based in the New River Valley, Virginia. Throughout this policy, “I,” “me,” and “my” refer to New River Digital. What I collect

Information you give me. When you fill out the contact form, I collect your name and phone number (both required), and — if you provide them — your email address, business name, and whatever you write in the message field. If you call, text, or email me directly, I'll have whatever information you choose to share that way.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, my hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit — things like your browser type, device, approximate region, and the pages you view. This is standard server-log and analytics data, and I use it in aggregate to keep the site running well and understand what's useful to visitors.

How I use your information

I use the information you provide to:

• reply to your inquiry and answer your questions;
• prepare and discuss a quote or proposal for your project;
• follow up about work you've asked me to do; and
• keep reasonable records of our conversations and any agreements.

I do not use your information for advertising, and I never sell it.

The services that help me run this site

I keep my toolset small and use reputable providers. The ones that may handle your information are:

• Formspree — delivers contact-form submissions to my inbox. Your form details pass through Formspree on their way to me. Formspree privacy policy
• Vercel — hosts the website, records standard server logs, and provides privacy-friendly visitor analytics that don't use cookies or track you across other sites. Vercel privacy policy

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. The site's fonts are served directly from this domain, so simply viewing the site doesn't share your visit with a font provider.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. For visitor analytics I use Vercel's privacy-friendly analytics, which measures general traffic patterns without cookies and without building a profile of you or following you across other websites. The data is aggregated and isn't used to personally identify you. A small cookie may be set when you submit the contact form to help deliver your message, but browsing the site itself doesn't require cookies.

How AI is used

I build and maintain this site with the help of AI tools, with a human — me — making every design, content, and code decision and reviewing the result. The contact form does not feed your submission into any AI system; your message comes straight to me. AI is a tool I use to work faster, not a substitute for the real person you're hiring.

How long I keep your information

I keep inquiry and project information for as long as I need it to do the work and maintain reasonable business records. If you'd like me to delete the information you've sent me, just ask — see “Your choices” below.

How I protect your information

The site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and I rely on established providers with their own security practices. That said, no method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security — please don't send sensitive details (like payment or account numbers) through the contact form.

Your choices

You can ask me to:

• tell you what information of yours I have,
• correct anything that's wrong, or
• delete what I'm holding.

Just email hello@newriverdigital.co and I'll take care of it. You can also skip the form entirely and reach me by phone or text instead.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for businesses and adults. It isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I'll delete it.

Links to other sites

My site may link to other websites — for example, a social profile or a booking tool. I'm not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so it's worth reviewing their policies when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here, so it's worth checking back occasionally.
